INSTALL RECOMMENDATION AND PROCESS If you haven’t purchased a tearout from Artisan, please have the old vanity top removed. If you are installing new cabinets, they must be installed prior to field measure. Whatever faucet you are going to use, it must be there at the time of field measure (for drill size).
TEAROUT: If you have purchased a tearout, but haven’t purchased plumbing from Artisan YOU MUST HAVE YOUR FAUCETS AND DRAIN DISCONNECTED FROM THE EXISTING VANITY TOP PRIOR TO THE TIME OF INSTALL. The purchase of a tearout includes ONLY the removal and hauling away of the existing vanity top. The purchase of a tearout does not include handling of any plumbing fixtures whatsoever. Please see paragraph below, titled “Plumbing.”
INSTALL: Prior to your time of install, you will need to empty out the contents of your cabinet and clean off your countertop. Once your installation is complete, we will clean up the install area.
PLUMBING: If you purchased plumbing from Artisan, you will be required to have a new faucet (BECAUSE WE DO NOT INSTALL OLD AND/OR EXISTING FAUCETS). We will also be installing new angle stops (hot & cold), steel braided burst proof water supply lines and a new p-trap. If any additional plumbing work is needed, you will be informed of what needs to be done and a bid of how much it will cost at time of field measure.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE NOTE: WHEN INSTALLING THE COUNTER TOP OR WALLS, DO NOT REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC COVERING. Just pull it back far enough to complete the installation. This will help prevent chips and scratches.
1. Surface or Cabinet, where lavatory and top are to be, must be clean and level. 2. Set Counter Top on top of cabinet. Do not use nails, screws, clips or any type of anchors or glue. 3. Caulk all Edges, Seams, and Joints with a good quality siliconized acrylic caulking (DAP #230 or a similar product). For this application, an acrylic caulking with silicone is preferable to a latex product. The acrylic caulking has water cleanup, excellent adhesion, remains flexible, is mildew resistant and paintable. 4. All Plumbing Connections must be made in accordance with local plumbing codes. 5. Never Use Plumber’s Putty on Cultured Marble due to the chemical reaction of the products, it can cause erosion to your countertop drain. Use 100% Silicone for setting the pop-up assembly for the drain. 6. When Installing Walls, use Tile Mastic on the green board and trowel it with ¼ “ grooves, Then seal it with the same siliconized acrylic caulking as countertops in all corners, along the top and bottom and edges.
